This movie is neither dark nor creepy. I like horror/thrillers about serial killers; too bad they're almost never any good. For all it tried, Saw never really built any tension, had cops who must have gone to the CareBear Cop Academy or something, and the plot twists were implausible and predictable. At some point I hope that Hollywood realizes

It also has possibly the most annoying and devoid-of-actual-useful-information web site I think I've ever seen. After struggling my way through most of that site and giving up, I basically don't know a thing about the movie I didn't learn in general from the first few sentences of your post.
