I bought a camera today! I got a Nikon D70 SLR camera with its stock lens. I will have to do research and see what kind of lens upgrades I want eventually, but for now this should be all the camera I need to take to Puerto Rico and so on. Not sure about my old Nikon Coolpix, now, though. The D70 is a lot bigger and heavier. I'm not very likely

Yeah. I've been reading your thread about cameras. I thought we could have fun trading and comparing in Puerto Rico. I need to take a whole bunch of pictures this week in order to get familiar with it. It's my first venture into the realm of digital SLR cameras. I haven't used a camera with a real lens since the 70s.

I know, I have played a little with mine (twice now) but Puerto Rico will probably be when I get more familiar with it. Good thing I got a 1 gig card, and a card reader. I can take lots of pics, and download them to my lap top as needed. I am sure it will be a learning experience :D One I am looking forward to.

We went to the mall today (gag) and I managed to buy a bathing suit. I won't talk about what it did for my self image.

Yeah. Last year was a pretty weak picture year for me. Even when I managed to take some I haven't really got anything posted up to my website. Whenever I do, I mention it in the LJ. So, you've seen pretty much what there is. Which is not much.

Maybe with the new camera I will be better....
