ahhhhhhh this is perfect, thank you for writing it!
i really love, especially, your ilhoon. the edge to him, and the way his anger plays out and the way it throws the others off balance. and then of course minhyuk drags him out for basketball at 1 in the morning (and i adore details like this, like hyunsik not sleeping until dawn, because their weirdass hours were what amused me most when i was watching their mtv diary). ugh and i love the understated quality of the progression of hyunsik and ilhoon's relationship (such as it is), and that entire paragraph of ilhoon's smaller befores and afters with the rest of the group, because i find all of their relationships with one another really fascinating.
ah thankyou ;o; I was so nervous about writing something a bit left field and venturing from my safe home of fluffy fic lol;; I'm glad that ilhoon's characterisation worked! Even though i've got plenty of material to work with it's hard to pin them, and especially ilhoon, down. I can't believe the stuff they get up to in their spare time in their mtv diary, i don't understand how they aren't in a pile on the floor asleep as soon as they get home :O It seems like a life built around constantly eating at weird times, haha. this is so, so perfect oh geez. you totally nail personalities and dynamics every single time and this is no different. ahhh so good!! you should definitely write more for these two!
so one of the things that I really like about your fic is that you're really good with progression? the progression of time or feelings always feels so real and your fic just moves along so smoothly. and there's just this really nice simple quality to your writing, not simple in terms of, like, basic, but simple in that it's not overly anything. your sentences are nice and say a lot without getting bogged down in wordiness or too much metaphor or anything.
i am so happy you've written btob though!!!! i think you did a great job with the group dynamic and with ilhoon especially, because i find him a little tricky to figure out myself but he's very him in this fic. i hope you'll write more in the future :3
ah this feedback :o I tend to struggle with pacing so i'm glad that it's working! Sometimes i worry that i'm not, idk, flashy enough, or that other times i'm pushing to overkill. I tend to lean towards understatement for safety, which is relying a lot on being able to get things across without being obvious and ...oops that way miscommunication lies. so it's nice to hear reassurance that my style is working lol

not good with words, so i won't even start the awkward rambling and stuff. but i really, really liked this. loved it even. hyunsik/ilhoon isn't a pairing i would normally think about, but you wrote them so naturally that they seem pretty perfect now. the progression of this, but most of all the characterization. i especially loved how you wrote hyunsik, the way he's sort of teasing, shy and yet very straight-forward. also the interaction between the group was very accurate - it's exactly how they are on-screen (even though they might be different in real life, i do think you wrote them perfectly).
