Gah. This was perfectly, intensely Shannon, warts and all. You got the I-love-you-I-hate-you-I'll-always-save-you vibe she shared with Boone down flawlessly.

I love this. I generally have no opinion whatsoever on Shannon, and it's so good to read stories like this which make me really see her character, and even like her. It's even better that there was Boone, because, Boone! *sniffle* I really liked the way you portrayed their dynamic, without taking the easy way out and instead acknowledging that they very probably thought of each other as siblings for a long time. Very nice.
