Allo! jessabelle thinks highly of you, and you're also friends with the awesome notasecretagent, so I thought I'd go ahead and add you. We may not have a ton of interests in common, but LJ folk do not connect by interests alone ;) Hope you're doing well, here on the Eve of Deathly Hollows!
Okay, I would add you just on the basis of your Immortal Beloved icon alone, but the fact that you listed my favorite Oscar Wilde quote in your profile seals the deal. Welcome!
Seriously, I had that quote hanging in my locker all through junior high and high school!
Sorry about the long wait. My ancient (read, three year old) laptop is doddering on the brink and it's taking me awhile to get things done online. But I'm glad to get to know you, especially since I've heard so much about you from jessabelle!
No problem about the wait...I mean, hey, with my weekend trip to the mountains, I'm just now responding to you :)
But yes, Immortal Beloved is a classic. My favorite actor playing my favorite composer in a fantastic film...yes, awesomeness :) And Oscar Wilde, particularly on said quote...you obviously have great taste.
Anyways, it's very late and I must be off, but thanks for the add back! jessabelle thinks/knows you're awesome, and now times_zero does, too :)

well, do I get points if I at least know that friend sound like "mehlon" or something like unto it? Anyway, I'm a friend of Cecily and Laura's and it sounds like you are from Portland which means I might have known you while I was there. The point being, you should add me as a friend :)

"Speak, friend, and enter" was the inscription on the entry to the passage under the mountains, through Gimli's people's territory. The actual password was the Elvish word for "friend", although I don't recall what that word actually was. Need to rewatch.

Yep, you got it! Hi, I recognize your username from Cecily's journal! I've added you back---I'm sure the fellowship would agree you can never have too many friends!

I used to live in Cedar Falls, too. But only for a year and a half, and I moved after elementary school. Have you lived there your whole life?

Welcome! I've only been in Portland for a little over a year now, so we may have met, we may not have. I have the memory of a fruit fly, sadly.

Anyway, I sorta know you through Cecily's LJ. :)
