Not all Western countries are like the USA. And if you wanted to make a point, don't choose a city that been bombed since WWII. They gotten used to it.

It's like the song says: Britons never, NEVER shall be slaves. Ph34r.

The reason why 9-11 was so devistating for the US psyche was because this was the first time that there has -ever- been an attack by an outside force on Mainland America. (previous major bombings inside the states have been done by americans)

The US had never been through a massive attack, like the Brits did in WWII. That's why it was so big a shock. America's still a young country after all. ^^;;
