Summary: There is a surprise for Elijah this Easter. Following this.

Cedar Rapids is certainly not as hustle and bustle as LA but it’s a big city all the same. Generally it doesn’t really bring him comfort as much as he expected; still, here he has his family. His mom, dad, brother, and sister, and everyone goes home for Easter. And with all the hectic-ness surrounding it, Elijah barely has time to think about Dom.
Like today, he’s promised to go shopping with his little sister. But their mother suddenly has a need for her in the kitchen and to his surprise and displeasure, Elijah’s agent calls him. He tries to politely get rid of her as soon as possible and huffs in relief when she finally hangs up.
Someone knocks at the door. It must be Hannah.
“A moment,” Elijah shouts. So finally she’s free from mom. Elijah grabs his backpack and car keys, darts to the door, pulls it open, and stops in his track.
His jaw practically drops to the floor.
“Dom…”
Dom looks disheveled, scruffy, and his hair is all ruffled.
“I thought you were in-”
But Dom has tugged him into his arms and hugged him tightly. His breath is warm in Elijah neck as he whispers into his ear.
“No, ‘Lij. No need for words for now. I just want to touch you, to feel you.” He pulls back a little to see Elijah. “I miss you so much.”
Elijah chokes on his words. “God, Dom.” He buries his face in Dom’s shoulder. He fits so well there. “Me too. Me too.”
