This would definitely explain why I have not idea who he is...and also why I have no interest in finding out anything more.

That website is, actually, totally hilarious. I'm prepared to know who he is in the interests of being able to find that site funny.

Yeah, I only heard of Justin Bieber recently when Siri was getting irate at the fact that he is in her words a wannabe Nick Jonas.

I dunno. She was very subtle in her reply to this. It's very difficult to get the sense that she's not a fan of Justin *G*

She'll totally kill me for even thinking of suggesting she might like Justin, won't she? Hehehehehe

So...I'm sensing you're not a fan of this Justin guy...

OMG Scott Pilgrim! It's going to be epic! We should totally see this together. Once there is a release date, we'll sort it out *g*

HEY! WHERE IS MY COPY OF SILVER BORNE?! I HAVE IT ORDERED TOO! FAIL, AMAZON PRIME. *GRUMPS*

Sorry. >.> I've been reading Pat Briggs since her books were all out of print and had to be sought through interlibrary loan. I don't even remember how I found her. So I am very proprietary. She is MY author. LOL

I hope you got your book over the weekend. It seems very strange that amazon.co.uk would get a book out quicker than amazon.com.

I stayed up until 3am last night reading it. I couldn't put it down. Now I just want the next one *g*

I only found Patricia Briggs a few years ago. I was at ComicCon and saw a book of hers (the first Mercy one) and vaguely remembered a friend telling me she really good so I bought it and promptly bought the rest of the Mercy books as soon as I could touch a computer.

I have to admit though, I've not read anything else she's written. I take it they're good? *g*

Oh, I'm like that about a few authors, too. The ones I've loved since they started writing and before they became popular/famous.

I got an email today that I'll have my copy tomorrow. Yippee!

The only books of hers that I really didn't like much were the Raven duology. I felt there was an awful lot of "oh, by the way, this is what happened 20 years ago" or "200 years ago", and they probably could have been improved by serious editing.

But Steal the Dragon and When Demons Walk were the first books I read by here, and The Hob's Bargain was the first she published after I found her. I thought Dragon Bones and Dragon Blood were really well-written with a unique main character.

And of course you know about the Mercy novels and the Alpha and Omega books. :)
