I had no idea who he was until it said he'd been in Swimming With Sharks with Christian Slater and I realised I've seen that play, and therefore him.

I approve, most heartily. He's a damn good actor.

As a life-long DW fan I shall wait and see how he "makes the role his own." It's never really been about the actor for me, more the character.

Oh, it's definitely the character.

I was SO damn against David Tennant becoming the Dr, but then he spoke his first line and I fell in total love with him.

So, yeah, wait for the first episode with him in (or maybe just the regeneration - that was when I fell for DT) and see how it goes.

My love of/theatre snobbery began when I was 16 and saw a few RSC performances in Stratford ♥

I've reached the point where, while I love him, I'm glad to see him go. I'm not sure whether that's more the show or the fandom right now though.

I haven't seen him on stage but he has hit the radar as a talent to watch out for.
I loved him in the interviews - he's got eyes that sparkle and I do love a bit of sparkle. Did you see that look at the end of Confidential?!
