i'm kinda in the same position - I'm kinda attached to having my hair long but its getting annoying and it'd be fun to try something different - but I'm too scared to, at least for now:/

I know what you mean. I haven't had my hair short in a long long time. I'll probably chicken out at the last minute, my hair dresser is used to that!
