Hey the kid has some sense - at least he didn't use a ball or a stick to knock the darts off! Maybe that would have given you an excuse to replace the chandelier ;)

I was laughing so hard I was crying. See what fun I miss not having children. :)

The Girl is my kind of kid. My niece would visit at her age, and we'd all sit around reading for days.

I've just been walking past the chandelier, noticing it and sighing every day, until it suddenly struck me that it was actually kind of funny.

The Girl read the entire All Creatures Great and Small series by James Herriott, the entire Beekeeper's Apprentice Mary Russell/Sherlock Holmes series by Laurie R. King, and at least a dozen thick fantasy novels.

I would have posted this comment sooner, but I was hypnotized by your icon.
