Hi Jan, no, I axed it. Decided it was a little too close to the bone, and xclairedelune was getting a little too... helpful. ;-)

I am an actress
From Macon, Georgia,
Blond and beautiful.
Who can compete
With actresses?
Who can compete
With the blond
And beautiful?

Somewhere on page 22,
Maybe,
You'll find me.

I'm not a celebrity.
I didn't portray Emily.
I wasn't Ben's Mom.

There is no gossip
About me.

Love the idea and you're poem.
I kind of like the idea of you being a labrador retriever. They are sweet and gentle creatures. And perhaps you can convince the girl that you don't need to buy a horse, because you, kind of...sort of..., are one.

Going to post this in my journal as well, actually, because I'm curious what others will come up with. Just reread your poem again. Liked it even more. :)

Somehow, I don't think The Girl will fall for that one!!

I love your poem. Simple and elegant.

:)

No, I don't think she would fall for it either, but just attempting to tease her about it might be enough fun.
