Bummer trillian is the only one I've ever heard of. Maybe by now they have a new vista version? They seem to do updates pretty regularly.

Well, I did like trillian all that much, but at this point I would be willing to give it a go again if it is Vista compatible.

I wish I could remember the name of the last one I used. I really liked that one. It didnt seem to slow my PC. Grrr.

YAY for new laptop! And YAY for C!!

Try Trillian. I used to use that and it was pretty good.
I know there's a web-based one as well but I can't for the life of me remember what it's called. If I remember, I'll tell you.

Please try and remember the web based one... seems Vista is touchy about certain software.

web based would be best.

and i dont like trillian, I used it when C and I first started dating. Hopefully it has improved some. I had another one I used but cant remember the name of it. Isnt that always the way? LOL

Call me later tonight after you get monkey brain to bed...

I used to use Trillian but got agrivated by how much memory and system resource it was taking up. I've since moved onto Pidgin (formerly Gaim). It is significantly better if all you wish to use is the IM facilities (i.e. not bother with webcam and voice).

I would like to find one that does all, but will investigate the one you recommended!

I think you are the one that suggested the old one I used but the name of this one is not familiar... what else have you used in the past?

PS. Is there a Vista site I could goto to find something compatible. I downloaded a game and the google toolbar and my right click button on the mouse didnt work yesterday until I unistalled both. Pain in my ass I tell you!
