Heeeeeeeeeeeeee!

Oh, this is FABULOUS! Also, um, Reed and Gambit would be HOT. Yes. Um. Reed/Johnny/Gambit would be even hotter and now I'm going to go find some ice. Hee. Poor Reed, what all that heat would to do to him! Hee.

I had really way too much fun writing this. When mylodon gave her request, I immediately thought of Gambit. *headdesk* I may have to explore this further. *laughs*

Thanks for reading!

You're a girl after my own heart. I'm never happier than crossing fandoms and being generally loopy. And when younger I was totally addicted to comics (admittedly DC, not Marvel).

He was certain there was some sort of mathematical algorithm he could look up that would explain it
*g* This could apply to a few of IG's characters, couldn't it?

Trying not to roll his eyes
Ditto. I love all these little touches.

And the fact that Patrick Stewart has worked his way into this story has me grinning madly. Especially with his line about Johnny. Love Reed's discomfort around Gambit - such a silly goose he is.

Thank you so much for this.

I think I had way too much glee in writing this. I love Gambit, so it's always nice to be able to work him in somehow. The total jacking around of the timeline I did here is worlds of wrong, but it was fun.

Glad you liked it. I really enjoyed writing this, so thank you.

I could tell you enjoyed writing it; fun without self-indulgence, which is great.

Timeline; yes, I see both sides on this. Too easy to say it's 'only' fanfic - getting things right matters irrespective of what you're writing. On the other hand, if you write with enough dash and elan (like here) then the anachronistic chronology can be happily ignored.

My pleasure.

Yay! Reed fills my heart with joy, and I love that the worst he could come up with was stealing Gambit's playing cards. *grins* Also, "My husband, technically," could be reinterpreted all kinds of fun ways, depending on one's punctuation and intentional or unintentional stresses. *double grin*

What fun!
