OH EDGEWORTH~?

I just wanted you to know that, having seen the flight records of your pilots, I can safely say we have a little girl on board who'll be happy to show them how pilots really should fly. I'll be sure to introduce you after she wins so you can all be properly humiliated.

smug bastadry, trash talking the vicky, not even slightly worried, my friend miles, you mean we have other pilots?, public humiliation ftw, oh god here comes trouble

Don't worry. I have absolute faith that you'll be able to show them what for.

Call it an intuitive feeling. I'm sure you'll do wonderfully. And if all else fails, there's cheating.

Miles is an old friend. I'm sure he knows I'm only teasing.

'Old friend'?

Given that this you talking, that is almost frightening.

Changed my mind. [BADLY LOCKED, BEGGING TO BE HACKED] inyourmidst June 9 2009, 06:20:11 UTC
Oh yes, although he's moved up in the world since then. I hear he's the First Mate on the Victoria II now. Very prestigious~

Mind you, I knew him back when he was most famous for being the only person in the class to start crying under a desk whenever low-flying airships made the building shake.

[OOC: We dooooo. ;A; I was meaning to throw him in the after!mission debriefing log but aksjghkfjh didn't want to be too late to the party.]

How beautiful of you to cheer on shipmate like that~. Though it is just a bit overkill on the volume to the opponent, don't you think?

He's a little hard of hearing, you see. And has this bad habit of ignoring me. I thought it would be kind of me to allow for his disability.

I see! How thoughtful of you then, Gin~.

Tch! Do you honestly think our pilots are pathetic enough to be beaten by a mere child? Just wait until the races, Ichimaru - you'll be eating your words before the last plane crosses the finish line.

Oh, but you see, I have a special insider source on the Victoria's combat skills. Here, let me read it for you.

[There's a rustling of paper. If cheap, trashy tabloids had a distinctive sound, you'd know exactly what it was.]

~Even despite the 4423 being downed in the Badlands, the Victoria II was so afraid of facing the pirate ship in battle and being forced to concede defeat a second time that it simply exploded on the spot to avoid the dishonor of loss.~

An eyewitness report from the Badlands frontier.

That's kind of an extravagant way to avoid a battle, Miles. I hope you were insured.

Tell me, Ichimaru, is that the same insider source that claimed Ivona's new president is actually a clockwork doll? Or is it the one that claimed the fallen islands were stolen by bogey men from below the clouds? You know damn well what sort of paper the Badlands Frontier is, and if all you have are empty taunts and trashy yellow papers, then I fear for your "star pilot".

She wouldn't be much of a secret weapon if we let her be publicly known about, now would she?

And I wouldn't discount that clockwork doll theory just yet. Especially when the President's already making decisions with the intelligence of one. Tell me, Miles, what do you think about this new information about the Bombings~?
