If you have invite codes in your account and haven't read the latest entry in news, you should probably do so now. You can redeem them for a coupon which you can then use to purchase services such as paid time or extra userpics.

I was just thinking how nifty it'd be to have a coupon-giveaway community, heh...

Heh. I doubt it's likely to happen anytime soon, since I imagine people perceive coupons to have real monetary value, or more so than codes (even though most people's codes were a result of payments as well).

But if people want to offer (and I'm sure there are a bunch of people who have only $0.50 or $1.00 in coupons and can't really use them, and a bunch of other who are just $0.50 short of what they need), I can imagine the moderators of this community wouldn't mind people using this community to give away coupons.
