Week 4! Overdue edition!
Ok, so cause I'm outta town, my whole schedule has really been thrown off and in some ways my writing has been slightly askew too. Week 2!
So week 2 was interesting. Started on a regimental study guide for my exam, spent most of the week with my WUDJ novel. Both are more successful than expected. I've figured out how many perspectives I need to make sure there is a complete story, filled in a few plot holes. Week 1: Busy!
So it's been a week since WUDJ, and I must say that I miss it. A lot. I miss writing 1500 words every single day. I know, right? But right now I've just been trying to get my ducks in a row, editing short stories, sorting out character stuff for Nano (eeee!), fixing up some WUDJ stuff. Huzzah! I did it. Thanks to SE for giving me the idea to get over writer's block by writing the ending, so I can see how to get to point A to the end. And it totally worked. Yaay!
Ok. Time to get down to srs business of planning tomorrow. :) -
July 31st Reflection post.
So this month has been freaking intense and kinda wonderful in it’s own way. Between crazyness of work, getting life plans in order, and doing WUDJ, it’s actually been incredibly helpful and suiting for the moment. Day 28
Wrote 1978 words of reviews and some personal stuff. Did some (small) research for nano. Saw Toy Story 3. Definetely made it a gooder day. :D -
Day 27
So I got 1,093 from finishing the short and a writing prompt, plus the 294 carry over means I'm only 200 words shy.
Sweet.
I am friggin' tired. Will deal with everything laters. -
Day 26: Feats of Strength
Ok so today was one of those days where I got a lot accomplished. Wrote 3 reviews for 2 books and my kindle, cleaned, laundried, got my kindle case, and kicked out 4007 words for a random short I started. Brings my total word count to 39, 294, so I'm 294 words ahead of schedule. I'm never ahead of schedule! I've never written 4K words in one day! I ( Read more... ) -
Day 25:
Did 672 words. Realized that even if I'm just doing writing prompts, as long as I'm writing everyday. Realized it at about 11, which isn't helpful, so I'm petering out cause it's nearly midnight. Stupid epiphany.
Gonna go finish reading The Legend of Sleepy Hollow instead.
