I could vent about how I didn't get the permanent position that I'm temping for.

I think the laughter was the vaugely uncomfortable "Oh my god", sort. The kind of thing that is unintentionally hilarious, if only because without laughter it was a wee tad uncomfortable.

Humans can be funny like that.

Aw cmon man! I think the movie was made for fans of the comic. I felt a bit thrown around through most of it, but only because I'd never heard of any of these people before! I think having background knowledge was the glue necessary to keep the film together.

I'm happy you enjoyed it though :)
