Hell of a Day

Still playing catch-up with these. Still, they're great little exercises, and have freed my brain up to plot out the next several IEIT installments, two of which are now officially in production. Funny how that works.

You, sir, have an embarrassment of riches on your hands. It's absolutely fabulous that Ianto sees Jack so clearly; that says more about the depth between the two of them than any protestation of love.

Funny how well this jibes today; I found this when I was searching for pics of JB in tennis whites (don't ask).

This is me, blushing and shuffling my feet like the awkward boy that I am. Thank you.

That opinion piece made me laugh much harder than it probably should have. For the record, I tend to think it's very difficult to have too much Barrowman. Especially if one is careful to supplement him with other eye candy.

Well, duh. We obviously don't have access to as much of him as we could, but the man could follow me around handing me paper towels from now until 2050 and I'd NEVER get tired of looking at him.

Hrm... can you work on that for me?

OH, and: *pecks awkward boy on the cheek in hopes of making him blush harder* (Stop being so cute. It's not polite.)

Oh, teeth. You're a menace. ;)

Also, what would you do with all of those paper towels?

Oh, that is lovely. I love the idea of Jack and Ianto just winding down at the end of the day. Because, of course, they're friends and coworkers as well as being lovers. And the mention of Rhys and Andy working together made me giggle :D

Yeah, I had this terrifying moment where I realized that post-"Exit Wounds" it was entirely possible that Rhys and Andy might start to talk more, and what an unholy alliance that could be. Not a stable one, necessarily, but that much stubbornness concentrated in an area? Oh yes.

As for Jack and Ianto, yeah, I like the idea of them becoming partners on multiple levels over time. That seems to be their trajectory.

*snigger* All in a day's work.
And *snigger* again at this:
“Twice a year on the equinoxes,” Ianto answered without hesitating.
