Disclaimer: Being a bloke who likes to slash pretty men doesn't make me RTD, I don't work for the BBC, and as much as I might like to, I don't own Jack or Ianto or any part of Torchwood. I do, however, order pizza under that name on principle.

There's a word limit? That explains much! This one really had the feel of something that really happened, just before we met them all. Characterization spot-on as always!

Yep. Each prompt comes with a set of criteria.

For example, this one was "First Time" with a 500 word limit and a requirement that "green" come into it somehow.

Challenge 1.02 (the stories for which go up tomorrow) is a 600 word limit story that takes its title and theme from any Duran Duran song title, and the story must feature a line from that song either in the dialogue or exposition.

thefannishwaldo is trying to kill us, I think. Still, if it wasn't challenging it wouldn't be much of a challenge, would it? ;)
