[For those who want to try to get Naoya for his part in Kohaku's death, this is the post. He's hiding out in the deeper parts of the forest, and he is fully expecting all those who tried to come after him before to come again-- he's especially on the look out for Patchoulie ( Read more... )

@batman, @patchoulie, {sorry isn't in his vocabulary}, {teleport is his favorite spell}, |cain|, @grune, !action

-Patchy would highly recommend running. Now. This time she's not playing around. This time she knows he has that teleportation ability. This time, she intends to finish him off. And the first thing she's going to do is cut off his escape route.-

Moon & Wood Sign "Satellite Himawari"

-Several glowing 'options' are released, scattering to the distance. Their patrol should catch him if he tries to get away...-

[Batman is not impressed with your lies. So he'll step over and haul Naoya to his feet and pin him against the tree.]

You gave a known mentally unstable individual a lethal weapon. That negligance alone is criminal. You cannot pretend your hands are clean.

[The tone in his voice says that he's done this many times before as well.]

[His wings flutter as he's pushed unceremoniously against the tree. He is far from happy at the moment, and that phrase just set him off.]

Clean? Are my hands clean? [Chuckle, chuckle. Then his face becomes cold again.]

Prove it.

(ooc: sorry naoya think he's left no proof at all, so bats is gonna have to tell him he hacked that one filter on dilandaus recent post. He didn't have time to lock it completely :p.

Then he'll throw a fit and you can lock 'I'm up :).]

[Still pinning him to the tree with one hand, Batman scowls. He retrieves his journal from his utility belt and opens it to a page he had bookmarked.

When he does so... his conversation with Dilandau not long ago plays through the journal's speaker. As it does so, he tightens his grip on Naoya and pins him harder.]

You're going to wish I let Patchouli kill you with how long you're going to be put away.

[And that's enough to utterly shock him. He had locked that. Not as tight as he usually did but tight enough. Or so he thought.]

I locked that. You hacked the code. [On another day he would be impressed, but not today. He had a feeling that Atsuro would have been able to if he spent long long enough, but certainly not Batman.

And now he's suddenly aware of how tightly Batman has him pinned against this tree. Cue some thrashing, because his gut instinct in this situation is to get away. Except, he can't.

Curse. curse. curse.]

[He'll eventually realize that the thrashing isn't doing him any good, and stop on his own.]

How long? You know nothing about the length of time!

...

Hah....Hahahaha...

All this time, and I've never been caught by Batman. My little brother--[Because he's a little too gone at this point to pretend that Abel is his cousin] likes you. Has some of your books and games.

Time, death, it doesn't really matter. [And then he's just going to crack up again. Best to knock him out because he's jumped off the deep end.]

[That blood curdling laugh disgusts Batman. He didn't expect remorse or repentance. But this was something he was entirely too used to.]

Lights out.

[And with that, Batman punches Naoya in the jaw, intent on knocking him unconscious.]

[The first murderer and all those copy-cats thereafter him have that laugh in common, it seems.

And that does the trick. Mages were never meant to take physical hits.]

[Now acting on that bad feeling she was getting when she last heard Patchouli's voice over the journal, Koakuma wanders out of the village herself to begin searching.

Considering that Patchouli had sounded...quite angry, among other things, it was a safe bet that she could be found somewhere away from other people, where fewer people could be caught in whatever crossfire was to follow. Of course, Koa doesn't yet know that whatever crossfire there was has already taken place.]
