Who: Isabella Torres, Damian Harris, Maxmillian Forbes
When: Thursday, December 8
Where: New York City hotel
What: Damian comes to ask for Isabella's help in a business proposition
*Damian*
Walking up to the door of the New York City hotel room, he sighed as he knocked on the door. Well, this certainly hadn't been as easy as he had thought it would be. Hopefully it would be worth his while though. Glancing at his watch, he knocked on the door loudly.
*Isabella*
She looked up at the door.
"Did you order room service?" she asked curiously.
*Forbes*
He looked up from the newspaper.
"Ummm... No. We have strict orders to no be disturbed."
*Isabella*
"Should I get it then?" she asked with a small smile.
*Forbes*
He smiled back at her.
"Rude of me not to jump up but you are much better equipped to take care of an intruder."
: *isabella*
She chuckled as she went to open the door a bit nervously. Pulling it open a bit, she swallowed.
"Damian."
*Forbes*
He jumped up at that.
"Get out of here Damian."
*Damian*
He walked into the hotel room.
"It's a pleasure to see you too. This certainly explains why she wasn't with Alessandra."
*Isabella*
She let her claws out and dug them into Damian's arm.
"Do not tell her where I am. Or I'll castrate you."
*Forbes*
He stood, glaring at Damian.
"Well... What do you want? We probably should have told you we were in America, but, well... We're trying to keep a low profile."
*Damian*
He chuckled.
"Ah yes, I imagine that has to do something with Ms. Torres' show at Hogwarts, wouldn't it? Although it does make business meetings difficult to set up."
*Isabella*
She growled.
"What kind of business meetings?"
*Damian*
Grasping Isabella's wrist, he squeezed it in the right way to detach her claws from his arm.
"Things don't seem to be going too well in paradise it seems. I would think you'd show a bit more
*Forbes*
He sighed and rubbed his brow.
"Get to the point, Damian."
*Damian*
He shrugged slightly.
"An Englishman not wanting pleasantries, imagine that. I require Isabella's assistance in a business matter."
*Isabella*
"What sort of business?" she asked, going to stand by Forbes.
*Forbes*
He grumbled.
"Yeah, got that much. Now... as Isabella has said twice now, what is the business matter?"
*Damian*
He sighed, wondering again if this was really worth the hassle.
"Department business. You know how it is. Very hush, hush. Nothing that will get her claws any dirtier than they are though and certainly won't get her in trouble with the law on this side of the pond."
*Isabella*
"Fine. I'll do it," she said with a sigh.
"It won't take too long will it?"
*Forbes*
He gave Isabella a look.
"That was quick. But still, the decision is yours."
He stepped away and returned to the couch, picking up his newspaper.
*Damian*
He shrugged.
"That all depends on how well you can use your skills to do the job, of course."
*Isabella*
She sighed.
"Damian, can you wait outside?" she snapped.
*Damian*
Backing up out the door, he nodded.
"Time is of the essence. Too much time has already passed regarding this matter," he said before walking down the hall a bit more.
*Isabella*
She went over to Forbes and sat down next to him.
"I couldn't let him possibly tell Alessandra where we are. I'll go, help him with his department business, and then come back to you. Forbes, I.. I love you," she said softly.
*Forbes*
He sighed and smiled warily.
"You know the sort of person he is and the sort of things he usually needs done. I don't like this."
*Isabella*
"I don't like it all that much either, but he's never hurt me, Forbes," she said softly. "It wouldn't hurt to keep him on our side."
*Forbes*
"He's on no one's side but his own, remember that. Any agreement or alliance we have with him will only last until he has no further need for us."
*Isabella*
"He managed to find us here, Forbes. We were supposed to be safe here," she said with a sigh.
"I will not go back to Alessandra and I will not go to Brazil. "
*Forbes*
He nodded.
"No... Just... Be careful. Know what you're getting into."
*Isabella*
"I will," she said, leaning in to brush her lips against his.
"Will you be here till I get back or should I meet you somewhere else?"
*Forbes*
He kissed her back.
"I'll stay here. If you need help, contact me."
*Isabella*
She melted into the kiss.
"I will, Forbes, I promise," she mumbled. "I'll miss you.. tell Clem.. tell her something.."
*Forbes*
He smiled.
"I'm sure she'll be fine. She's so busy with her big client she may not even notice you're gone."
*Isabella*
She chuckled and kissed him again before getting up to gather her things.
"Will you notice?" she teased.
*Forbes*
He laughed.
"Yes, I'll notice. Now go on.. and like I said, be careful."
*Isabella*
She tossed some things into a bag and wrapped her arms around him again, brushing her lips against his.
"I will. I'll be back as soon as I can."
*Forbes*
He kissed her back again.
"Of course. I'll be here, waiting."
*Isabella*
She nodded nervously before going out in the hallway to join Damian.
"Let's go get this done," she said with a determined look on her face.
*Damian*
Nodding, he wrapped his arm around her and pulled her close as he pulled his wand out.
"Yes. Enough time has passed already," he said before smirking. "Hopefully a change of scenery will change your mood as well."
