She shook her head as she walked out of the Great Hall after the meeting. Well, that was kind of pointless. A new burly guard shown off and that's about it? Weird. Although that Umbridge person was.. well.. like fingernails going down a chalk board. Seeing Jade up ahead, she frowned as the girl tore down another poster. What the...?
"Jade, what're ya doin'?" she asked as she approached the other girl.
She smiled. "Hey Kat. I'm taking down all these quidditch flyers. I had intended on having the tryouts sometime next week but since McGonagall announced they're tomorrow, it's kind of pointless to have these things up." She shrugged.
"How have you been doing?" She asked as they slowly walked down the hall.
"Ah don't know. Seems like a shame ta let all those posters go ta waste. Maybe ya could just charm 'em ta say that try-outs are tomorrow. It still gets the word out a bit. Even if it's a little short notice."
She made a face.
"Better than not advertisin' at all. Violet an' me are the only two on the team an' we don't even got posters."
She smiled softly.
"Ah've been doin' good. Break was great. Almost sad ta be back at Hogwarts, but things have been goin' good so far. How have ya been?"
She stopped and glanced down at the flyers. "You know, I never thought about charming them. I'll look it up later." she said smiling.
She shrugged her shoulders.
"Trust me, Alex and I know about hurting for players. We have to get a new seeker to replace Cho and two chasers. And with the school being considerably smaller this year, I think everyone's teams will be hurting."
She shoved the flyers she had in her hands into her bag.
"Break was okay for me. Went home and spent some time with my mom and my stepdad." She rolled her eyes. "I missed being here even with the Calling happening because it's alot better than dealing with Norman. I haven't seen Seamus yet though, have you?" She asked looking around as if he would suddenly appear in the crowd.
