He chuckled as he nodded.
"That's the exact problem Sirius has with them. They look dashing and are great for posing, but do nothing for real life Auror encounters. At least the capes detach easily enough though, so they don't have to deal with them getting caught."

She grinned. "He should just be thankful there isn't some specific rule that dictates they need to wear them whenever they're on duty or something."

He laughed as he shook his head.
"If that were the case, Sirius would have quit being an Auror a long time ago. Or destroyed enough uniforms so that he would be the exception to the rule."

"Attention all students, professors, and staff. The Minister of Magic has decided to visit Hogwarts and would like to make an announcement. Therefore, I am requiring that all students, staff and professors make their way to the Great Hall immediately. Those who are not there within the next ten minutes will have to make their excuses to me afterwards. Once again, everyone is to assemble in the Great Hall immediately! Thank you."

Sighing, he looked at Violet and then at his hardly touched food. He was sure that Minerva would accept his excuses. At least he was pretty certain she would. But it would look more suspicious if he wasn't at this school wide meetings than if he was. Especially if Umbridge was making some sort of announcement. Oh what he'd give for Harry's invisibility cloak right now... Sighing again, he stood up and gave Violet a weak smile.

"Well then, looks as if we should be off. We mustn't keep the Headmistress waiting," he said before heading out of the kitchen and up to the Great Hall.
