Parvati headed down towards the great hall, ducking to the side when she spotted a group of adults headed her way. Pulling Lavender against the wall as well, she groaned and screwed up her face in a grimace when she heard a familiar voice. Umbridge. Ugh. She pulled Lavender behind her as they tried to make their way towards the Great Hall without being noticed.

Padma wandered down towards the Great Hall, a little curious about all the noise and commotion. She saw her sister pulling Lavender along as they tried to dodge a large group of people. She also saw Hermione wade right into the thick of it. She came up to Pavarti.
"Sis... What's going on? What's all the commotion?"

Parvati grabbed Padma to the side.

"it's Umbridge. And her goonies. Let's get the hell out of here.." she hissed.

"Oh bloody Hell. What's she doing here? Trying to cause trouble again? Yes, let's get the Hell out of here...."

Victoria had hardly incurred the wrath of the almost imfamous Dolores Umbridge. When she heard that the woman would be at Hogwarts the night before she had hardly thought anything of it, but the short and rather stocky woman had somewhat of a waddle as she pointed and prodded various commodities walking down the hall. Restoration comments were being tossed around, and Victoria found herself looking to the ceiling as if it could give her any form of entertainment.

Hermione saw Umbridge leading the other adults around the school. As they walked toward her, as she was walking in the opposite direction, she ended up face-to-face with the horrible minister. Hermione just stared, not with the loathing she would want to incur, but with an innocence that she knew could get her in no trouble, but would make the woman very uncomfortable.

"Oh! And here's one of our star pupils now! Hermione Granger isn't it? Hem hem."
She took Hermione by the arm and spun her around to face the assembled VIPs, dodging the strange look on the girl's face.
"She's one of the finest wizards of this or any other generation. Just the type of person who's going to make us great again. She's friends with the famous Harry Potter, you know?"
Flash bulbs popped.
"She's a hero of the Battle of the Calling and the Battle of Hogwarts." Umbridge tried her best to look benevolent and smile for the cameras, it didn't quite work.

Hermione pulled her arm out of the woman's (she wondered if she could really call this creature a woman) grip. Trying not to be rude, she stepped away from Umbridge, smiled at the camera for a second, then quietly excused herself, trying to sidestep the minister.

"Yes, dear, I understand, you have things to do, we won't detain you. Go on, shoo shoo... Say hello to Harry for me, I'm sure he'll be pleased to see me..."
And she turned back to the VIPs and lead them on towards the Great Hall.

Vi walked towards the Great Hall when she heard the commotion of many voices and the sound of cameras- and the sound of a very familiar, "hem hem." She stopped short, for a moment willing herself to believe that she'd only imagined it, before she rounded the corner and saw the crowd of people with Umbridge in the front and promptly ducked behind the corner again.

"Oh bugger," she muttered beneath her breath as she turned to go back the way she'd come. Maybe she'd go down to the kitchens and grab a bite there- Umbridge surely wouldn't bring her entourage down to the kitchens would she? Either way she had no wish to come face to face with Umbridge or any of her entourage.

That resolve in mind, she hurried back down the hallway, hoping taking a long, circuitous route down to the kitchens would ensure she wouldn't meet up with Umbridge.

Harry heard the "Hem Hem..." before the squat toadlike figure even rounded the corner. Rather then flee, like some of his classmates, he just leaned against the wall and lt the distance between them close. He was not looking forward to
dealing with another person trying to impress people with his celebrity, but it was too much effort to avoid her at this point.

She waddled her grotesque way over to Harry.
"And here he is! Harry Potter!"
She allowed her fake enthusiasm to overflow at this point. She ignored his rather sullen appearence.
"Isn't it wonderful? Another happy student safe and sound here at Happy Hogwarts. Hem hem."
The enthusiasm in her voice made it sound even more like nails on a chalkboard than usual.
"One of my favorite..." There was a slight tone of condescension on the word favorite. "...students from my days here as an educator. One of our best and brightest. Hem hem."

A smile had taken over Harry's face because he knew it pained her to say such glowing things about him. He decided to make it worse for her and prolong this moment. "That's very kind of you to say, Dolores," He said with feigned enthusiasm, "I can call you Dolores can't I? I mean...we've become so close over the years" He said as he put his arm around and posed for another picture.

She squirmed slightly.
"Yes. Well... Quite close. Yes. Hem hem."
After a few flashbulbs went off she managed to squirm out from under Harry's arm and recomposed herself.
"Yes, well, right then. I'd love to chat more with you Harry but I'm afraid I have a very important meeting with the Headmistress..."
She turned to the crowd.
"I invite you all to join us for lunch in the Great Hall, I will rejoin you in a moment and we can finish the tour then."
