wow that's scary.. i've had a big dog attack me twice (same dog, same stupid owner) when i was a kid.. and it was terrifying... poor little girl isn't gonna feel the same way about dogs ever again

I was bitten by a family friend's German Shepherd when I was 9. I already had Lady at that point and was comforted immediately after the incident by a Rottweiler so I didn't develop a generalized fear of dogs, but the commonly-seen saddle-back shepherds made me terribly uncomfortable for years. (I didn't have problems with the other shepherd colors! LOL) I actually deliberately chose to adopt a saddle-back shepherd type after Lady's death to help me get over my anxiety. Mason hasn't been so obliging though. LOL His coloring's right, but he looks more and more houndy the older he gets.
