Feel free to probe Raven's surface thoughts. She's the daughter of a mega-satan-level-demon, and has quite a bit of power over emotions - go ahead and take what you can from that - sensory-wise.

1. Jomy's powers are pretty developed at his point in canon. Hearing his surface thoughts should be nearly impossible.

2. Definitely yes. Jomy is a Mu, and (one of the first two) Type Blue, which means he's the strongest of his kind - so it's safe to say his telepathic abilities are at a considerably high level.
