Now I'm looking ahead to your next review.

A Jewish state somewhere else - that's a popular topic in Alternate History. Even this user once thought up a story like that, with this history's Judea (as it's called) being set on the Sinai. As close as possible to the Holy Land, but not actually in it.

Since I have read so much about the conflict that it comes out of my ears.

One correction, prior to the Zionist movement was the spiritual religious movement led by the Rabbi Eliyahu Kramer of Vilnius (aka the Vilna Genius) known as the Perushim. These lay the foundations for the modern day Jewish community structures.
