Hm ... Okay, I've never watched Torchwood and know nothing about this, but ... 10% is probably way too high a number, yes, but if you put all the children nobody wants instead, I could see it happening. Orphans, abandoned children, neglected and abused children.(A while ago I read an article about there being more and more cases in my country when divorcing parents' argue not over who gets to keep the children, but rather who has to.)

Children of Earth left a bad feeling in my gut because of how horrible the situation was. I was watching this just feeling so sad and horrible. >.< Torchwood has touched on some pretty heavy stuff, but this episode effected me most.

I'm still having mixed feelings over Owen and Tosh being killed off, and I feel it even more so after Ianto died. I get that its realistic because people have died in Torchwood in both this show and Doctor Who. But at the same time I couldn't help but think "Okay, this is half the cast....O_o"
