Interestingly enough all book names from Duffy series are lines from Tom Waits songs: "Cold Cold Ground", "A Sweet Little Bullet From A Pretty Blue Gun", "In the Morning I'll Be Gone".

I don't dislike Tom Waits, just never been much of a listener. Now that I've checked out some of his YouTube videos, I realized I do like and recognize some of his music.

I should not take more of your time re. Tom Waits, but there are at least 2 stages of his music: 1 more jive place type until mid 80-s and past that when he changed musically which would be #2.
