I always thought Nigel was not just another snake. Sometimes, it even felt like he could understand Alex. He might not be special, but he is no ordinary snake either. I think we will learn more about him in future books,

Ohhhh SNAP!!!!! "....another one bites the dust...." I wonder if Alex slashed JM's man parts and that's why he decided to run...hahahahahha It would be fitting....but I wonder what happened to nigel?? I grew fond of him and his slithering....I was kinda hoping he'd be around more, but it's very fitting that the person who summoned him would be the one he would help kill...very fitting indeed. I feel a bit leery of knowing that Auntie Diana is a black owl. Kinda creepy the way she off'd JM.....woulda been funnier if Malcom were around and "accidentally" had owl for dinner...hahahhahahahahaha
