They're a particularly nasty band of mercenaries who seem to be more interested in killing people than they are in getting paid. Mercenaries who fight for money I can understand, but those who fight for the thrill of fighting and killing? Creepy, unreliable, and dangerous.
But as for you, guarding the rear is especially important in this battle. Vampires are incredibly dangerous. I'm not positive we'll be able to contain them all with the initial attack, and with their base of operations under attack, the siege engines will be a high priority target.
Well, if that is my liege's wish. I would relegate Delita to the front lines and Guy to the back, their styles are more suited for artillery fire. Also, your bioblaster can be turned into a potent weapon if you have a flame source to ignite it, it should work well against the vampires.
You know Guy about as well as I do. If you put him anywhere but the front line, would you trust him to stay there?
A good thought with the bioblaster, though. I was going to just bring the flash. I wonder if I could refit the bioblaster to just shoot out fire? THAT would be a fearsome weapon.

((I've decided Ivan actually needs to do something. Apologies if this is unacceptable; feel free to rebuff him.))
. . .
Excuse me, Lord -- Ah, King . . . Um. Sir. I apologize for intruding, but . . . I'd like to offer my assistance in your endeavor to bring about the destruction of the Last Battalion. I've had contact with one of them in the past, and the things they've done are . . . unforgivable. At the very least, the creatures that the Doctor has created -- the undead soldiers -- need to be destroyed. It is a terrible existence . . .
The airship. If you wish to disable it, I think I can call a localized storm to unsteady them. It might be too unreliable, but . . . I'd like to help in any way that I can, sir.
My name is Ivan, sir. I . . . guess you could call me a seer. I don't know exactly how it works, but on occasion, I'll see things in these entries that I shouldn't be able to -- I believe it may have to do with the magic that hides the filtered entries. I can see through it if the seal isn't strong enough.

But I think that sounds like a good plan! Are you sure you don't want me helping the others?
