Indie is more like a genre that would have this sort of laid back quality. Less about the budget, more about the acting style, really.

Plus, they got the fire SFX okay.

orz. This is embarrassing. But still for being a swedish movie it really isn't that laid back or anything. It's generally pretty high-quality if you ignore the cats, and I mean the acting too.

I'm just quoting what I've heard american review sites say, but I'll remove that point. I apologize. I still really think it's a matter of different movie cultures.

orz. You don't have to remove anything because of me, it's just my opinion. (Plus, trust me. It makes it a better movie in my book. I don't really like big budget US horror as anything but comedy.)
