I don't often see Onigumo before his demonic transformation, so this was interesting. He loved her, but wanted to destroy the parts of her he loved.

Onigumo makes Naraku an interesting character with
desires one would not expect from a super villain.
Even in Chapter 546 Kagome is able to piss off Naraku with the comment that he did not get his wish, which of course was Kikyo. He both hates her and loves her at the same time. It does make for
complications.

Nice to see secondary characters used as what they are catalysts.

Thank you for your comment. It was Onigumo's unrequited love for Kikyou that started all of this mess.
