Am back from vacation. Am exhausted. Am thinking of laundry sitting all night in dryer getting wrinkly because I was too tired to deal with it. Am marathoning Big Bang Theory just because, and I need good icons for it, because now I have more icon space.

Am really glad it’s Friday and I can maybe sleep all weekend. Not really. But it’s a nice ( Read more... )

That post is coming this weekend. When I have posted pictures to fb so I have evidence all these fantastic events did occur, and proof that your hair really is that awesome.

Yes, what IS that sketchy story? You certainly do know how to draw out the suspense. I mean, how many men did you lock in the washroom with you that time? *raises eyebrow*

PS it is totally not crazy to go beyond mere fanfic and do actual research for papers by fictional characters right?

GOOD. Me too.

That said, I think it's possible that the TEN THOUSAND HUMAN SKELETONS letter I was editing for the journal today is possibly some sort of Bones-fic-writing troll. The article he was writing the letter tot he editor about had nothing to do with bone erosions in non-RA people over the past several thousand years.

It's so much fun for pointless research rabbit trails! I think the main reason I want a PhD is so I can legitimize all my time-wasting.

Have much fatigue, now, too . . . but for one short, glorious day after the holiday, I felt truly, deeply rested.

Miss you bunches!

(it continues to be perversely sunny, here; there was a brief rainstorm a la That Day at Wal Mart, but it cleared quickly and we are back to sun . . . so unfair . . . also, tracked down some Barbara Michaels books at a secondhand bookshop today, so yay)

Yay for book triumphs and good weather! Too bad it did not favour me. I'm back to my normal degree of tired but no longer exhausted, so that is progress. :D

I miss you bunches too!
