Joss Whedon as Film Auteur

 I've been reading about the French New Wave critics, and auteur theory, and their views on Hitchcock and all that- and from what I understand of the definition, I think Whedon's work really defines him as such.

OMG I SO did not know Joss wrote the screenplay for Toy Story!! No wonder that's the greatest Pixar movie ever!

Yup, he did! I am personally convinced the "that's not flying, that's falling with style" line is all his. It just sounds like him, doesn't it?
