tonight, if you're not doing anything, you should probably go to Mag:Net High Street. it's Rockaoke Night with the Johnnies. So basically you can have them play any fucking song in the world and sing along to it karaoke style. comment if you're planning on going and i'll get you in for free, and bring your friends as well. it's my biz partner's little experiment and it has a lot of promise so let's help her out!

around March of this year I was judging for the CCP short film competition and there was one film that clearly blew everyone else out of the water. it was a short called CARPOOL, directed by Jerrold Tarog
we unanimously voted it first place and I was an instant fan. i even copied the DVD to show to whoever passed by the house. it was exciting, fresh, fast and asskicking-- and it even starred my former student anti-amkid activist JUJU!
so now, thanks to a comment by its director two posts ago, i'm deathly excited for mr. Tarog's first feature -- CONFESSIONAL
