Those are some really nice pics melissa, I particularly like the foggy bridge pics, that is beautiful, i'd like to have that pic blown up and on our wall actually...
As for the rides, wow, i can't believe i got in that FREAKOUT ride, you encouraged me by saying "go ahead do it, do it!!" I'm sorry you didin't get to try any rides you wanted to do, it was a bit rushed due to only haveing an hour, but you should have spoken up, i'm sure you could have convinced some of us to go on them... Anyway, good job on capturing the evening and again great photography work, you rock!

Thanks! :) I really like the foggy bridge pics too, they were taken on my walk to work. You can have a copy if you want.
I took pics of the Freakout ride but, they just didn't turn out as pretty as the zipper ones or the ferris wheel. I really had no money for any rides, so it was all good. I think the whole mood of the evening changed really quick anyway and I was kind of happy when we left. When the big frex comes to town, I'm sure I will get on a few rides. =)
I would reccomend watching fast-car movies, the cheezier the better. "Too fast too furious" and the like. Watch the *power shifting* scenes where they seem to press and release the clutch so fast it's almost indistinguishable. Seriously. It gave me a lot of confidence. Something a long the lines of, "If these talentless actors can shift efficently, I should have no problem." Also, it can get you closer to the right headspace. Driving does need to be safe, but it should also be some amount of fun.
Yay! I'm glad I may have helped. The photos you took are excellent by the way - very beautiful moments in Fredericton. When I was a kid, I used to watch the fog roll over the river from the bus window on my way to school... It's one of the reasons I still live, and love to live, here. It's great tjat you appreciate the beauty of our little town!
