First poem I've written in a really long time; I did it this morning during study hall. It's rather a different format than the one to which I am accustomed

The imagery is really lovely-- I particularly love what you've done with really simply words and how you've transformed them into really solid illustrations, feelings, etc. I think, however, that something is a bit off with the rhythm: it isn't consistent throughout the entire poem and it makes it feel a bit more prosaic. Just my two cents!

I love reading your writing again :) I vote that we get together for spiced apple cider and pumpkin pie and have a writing workshop.
