Warchild remains my favorite Lowachee book, but I love seeing all her different stories.

I completely agree about the cover! And this sounds like something I'd enjoy, as does Warchild.

I definitely see you enjoying Lowachee's work. :) Between the two I've read, I did enjoy Warchild more, but this book really is an excellent fantasy read.
