and out of the corner of his eye Kibum notes that there are no stars out tonight, because they are all gathered in Jonghyun's eyes.

"Has that ever been a problem?" He says, closing the distance between the two of them and re-stealing Kibum's heart all over again.

"I survived more than ten years without you, I'll have you know," Jinki says.

"More than ten years of an incredibly sad life," Kibum corrects, but smiles at Jinki anyway. that line killed me for a reason i cannot explain, guh

This was so lovely, I don't even have the words to describe it. It made me tear up (though I kind of tear up at anything) and it really wasn't angst, as you have it tagged. An aching melancholy perhaps, but it ends beautifully. Thank you for making it end happy :D

Rah first time commenting on one of your fics and I cannot even
begin to formulate a coherent response.

Your writing is just..so..right-perfectly capable of sustaining
a balance between the mixture of emotions.

Ugh ignore my nonsensical ramblings but honestly your fic made me
slightly teary, the ending was sweet but because of the previous parts
it became a bitter sort of sweet. All the tribulations they had to
go through to get together- to find each other again were written beautifully.
