I know there's that blog sociology community, but this may be more INTJ related ( Read more... )

I have some real loonies on my friends list, sure. But they're mad in good ways. I laugh with them, not at them.

Then again, I occasionally browse LJ hunting for nutters I can laugh at. They're not particularly hard to find.

It's not the ones who are necessarily depressed or anything, but the ones making certain lifestyle choices.
It's so easy to pick apart their lives as they spill their guts on the internet.

I don't have a daily need for the attention/drama whore amusement factor, so none of those on my friends list. Those would be the ones I go looking for once in a while. Bless their little moronic souls and atrocious spelling.

I've thought about deleting some of the people I'm referring to in this post, but then I'd be curious and miss reading their self-imposed drama.
It's like a little soap opera.

I don't have anyone on my list that way. I had one girl on my list that was an absolute nut/attention whore... I couldn't take it, and removed her (and all her LJs). I have another friend who is just being stupid in my opinion, and I'm thinking of removing her, as I hate reading about her joy in stupid behavior. Then I'm very much a 'I hate stupid people' sort of person, and find little humor or ability to laugh at such.

I can detach myself emotionally from the situation and look at as writing on a screen.
People I'm referring to are also serious attention whores like you said.
I don't delight in people having serious mental difficulties, but the ones who make such poor choices in their lives and then go and blab about it on the internets.
These are the funny ones.
