I haven't agreed yet to LJs toxic new ToS, so I can't post - but I can still reply!
Is there anybody else still around?
In case you hadn't heard, in response to the server move and the odious new ToS, there's a mass exodus from LJ to Dreamwidth.org. Dreamwidth is a fork of LJ under active development. Please consider yourself invited! I've already moved over there. DW has a free account level, no ads; most importantly Dreamwidth has an importer to pull your LJ account into your DW account. You can of course sign up for a DW account at any time at your leisure, but if you want to bring your LJ journal with you, I would recommend you sign-up and trigger the import immediately - part of the new ToS seems to mean that third party backup apps like the DW importer are now against the rules, and I don't expect the LJ interfaces such tools use to remain available for long.

The importer maintains your permissions, so you won't be leaking private information if your do. Instructions here: LJ to Dreamwidth in a hurry (5 minutes)The ( ... )
