Jack had A Plan. He'd said he was going to do something, and by golly, he was going to do it.
He just had no clue how to do it, and that never stopped him before.
So with the radio blasting some thinking music (rock music from the 60s/70s), he sat down to make a list of what to do and who could help.

Jack was not having the best weeks. His roommate was sick, his Little Sibling was a cat, and he had to work today.
Bah.
The only good thing about watching a cat-shaped Lil Sib was that she was warm, at least, when she tried to hog the whole bed. -
Outside Room 208 of Burton/TheFrog, Monday morning
"HAAAAAAAAAAH!" Jack screamed as he leapt out into the hallway, clad in a t-shirt and boxers, holding the recently-disassembled leg of an end table from his room above his head like a club.
"Alright, where are they? I'm ready for 'em now," he declared.

Jack came in to drop his stuff off after classes and sat on the bed to flip over some course material. The pages swirled around him, and he was having trouble reading it, since the fonts were suddenly so huge and the paper crinkled under his tail.
Oh, great.
He facepawed and hoped this would be over soon.

Right. Remember when I said I had nights and weekends off? Yeah. No. Same 4-midnight shift, Thur/Fri off.
And I'm working overtime the next few days, so I'll be scarcer. -

Anyone peeking into the room say, from a Steadicam would find Jonathan "Jack" Burton, heir of the Burton Transportation conglomerate, waking up in bed, as was his custom, not alone, as was his custom. Jack was almost done getting ready for the Carnival. The dance last night was wonderful, and today looked to be as good!

Jack was all excited; he'd received a letter from his dad the other day that his dad would finally be here! Jack got dressed and bounded out the door, trying to find his dad as soon as possible.
