1. Where do you find your icons? I know there's a few communities dedicated this.

2. Is there a character classifieds app page? ("I'm apping Cagney, I need a Lacey" and such)

I tend to start looking for icons on Hollow Art and Find_icons over at IJ. I've also had good luck tracking down communities dedicated to my fandom and poking through them for icon posts. You can get to those by doing an LJ Interest Search.

Can't help on the second thing :-).
