My solution: Let's get a Prompt Fest going! Some of my best fandom memories have been jumping into prompt fests. It can be really intimidating to get started especially in a small fandom and new community

What happens if, when Kieren goes out to the cave after hearing about Rick, Jem finds him and calls and ambulance before he bleeds out? How does Kieren react to the rising from the other side of it? Does Jem still join the HVF? Does Kieren, even? How does Kieren's being alive change the way things go down when Rick comes back?. Does he still get to be friends with Amy? Does he still meet Simon?

I would basically love to see how any of this scenario would play out.

Simon/Kieren, Psych ward/hospital/therapy!AU

Kieren is rescued in time by Steve and he gets sent to a psych ward/hospital for therapy instead. He meets Simon there.

I don't mind if it gets dark but happy ending please!

They never really talked, him and Simon. Shared a room, agreed noncommittally about turning the overhead light of in favour of the single downlights over the beds. Set spaces for toiletries and towels in the shared bathroom. No shared experiences, no stories, no monologues. Silence.

"I was," Kieren agrees. "Now I'm broken."

"Fucking hell, aren't we all," Simon agrees. "Want a smoke?"

Kieren considers it, and peers outside at his father who is now ranting at some campus official.

"Why not?"

They step out on the stoop of the enclosed garden, completely- overwhelmingly draped in snow. Simon passes a cigarette, and then a moment later offers the cherry of his own to light Kieren's

OMFG!!!! LET ME LOVE YOU. THIS WAS SO MUCH MORE THAN I HOPED FOR.

This is so, so beautifully written. I love it, the characterisations and the realism in the setting. I really love that you didn't have magical healing love between Simon and Kieren but there is hope and they can get better together.

I love the sibling relationship between Jem and Kieren. I also love Jem being a badass! More please pretty please?

Maybe something like five times Jem is a badass and the one time she doesn't have to be?

Christmas fluff/humour

With the Christmas season approaching, I would love to read a story with Christmas fluff. Can be any pairing but one person of the pair must be a PDS sufferer.

Bonus points if one person is literally wrapped up like a Christmas present or if the story is funny.

Anon, I was trying for Kieren/Simon but another plot bunny struck me. I might have a crack at it again later but I wanted to get it in for Christmas.

What do you think of Jem and Kieren gen fluff?
