SECOND: A story.

One winter a Farmer found a Viper frozen and numb with cold, and out of pity picked it up and placed it in his bosom. The Viper was no sooner revived by the warmth than it turned upon its benefactor and inflicted a fatal bite upon him; and as the poor man lay dying, he cried, "I have only got what I deserved, for taking compassion on so villainous a creature."

But that wasn't the sin. The problem was that the farmer, though he had known snakes all his life, expected the creature to act against it's nature.

Does that mean I'm allowed to spear Apollo? Since he's the viper and that is one way to keep them from killing you.

Ugh I'm only censoring this to Muse eyes because you're my sister and I love you. Take note this is killing me.

Apollo loves that kid. He's spoiled and selfish, both things we love about him, but he genuinely cares about Hyacinthus. I doubt he'll hurt him, at least not on purpose. But that whole love thing is a sticky mess.

Apollo seemed upset about Hy's date and even more so that I wouldn't tell Hy not to go. I don't want him interfering out of a selfish need to keep Hyacinthus.

There's not much he can do about it. And I doubt he'd be dumb enough to hurt Hyacinthus. I mean he's known us like forever. He's probably already guessed the wagons are circling.

I guess he's not happy about Hy dating? Psssht. Screw that. Hy's a big boy and he can do what he wants. Apollo should make a move if he's so worried about it. But I'll definitely keep an eye out in case the boss man goes nuts. But really, I doubt he'll hurt him. Like Mel says, he does actually love him.

That seems to be the problem. He asked me to tell Hy not to go and I refused so Apollo stormed off. Apollo is as prideful as we are, love might not mean anything.
