It seems some people think that I'm writing fiction, or that I'm using this forum to try and become a great writer, because I've been talked to about my "voice," or my "character summary," and I sometimes get "tips." I am finding that odd, and don't always know what to do about it.
The other day I got a message from someone I haven't even seen around here who told me I should have left out the intro to this piece, and just started with the description of Dark. I couldn't figure out what to say to that, since this is still my journal, where I'm writing about my life, and of course I would naturally take a moment to explain why in my journal about my life I'm going to take a moment to talk about someone who is not me, by explaining how he ( ... )

I agree that being on the planning end probably seems a lot safer than being on the receiving end. The mischief apparently is going to happen, so better to know beforehand than become its target.
These are some great stories. I kind of wonder how he could have settled down enough to marry and start a family, unless his wife is just like him. They she would totally understand. They'd spend their weekends sneaking around town looking for trouble that needed starting up. ;)

And I've only showcased one aspect of his life here. It's probably not fair to say he never takes anything seriously. He is capable of being as serious as he needs to be, and he is actually quite a good man. Loving, kind, faithful, loyal, generous, and supportive, to family, friends, and anyone in need.
He just looks for the opportunity to find the fun in every moment, and he's always willing to own up to his mistakes. He's a worthy fellow to have in your corner, and a great friend.
