I slept until quite late (for me), that is, until the dogs started shuffling their feet and coughing to remind me that other bladders than mine required emptying... The dogs and I went to Esquimalt lagoon this morning. We saw a large goose of some kind that an old guy swore up and down was a Canada Goose, but I know a Canada Goose when I see one and this wasn't. I usually meet my friends B & J and their dog Henry for walkies on Saturday afternoon, but J was not well, so I had a free afternoon. Lucky for me, because it was a beautiful sunny day, and I had my chance to go out and take photos of autumn leaves before Sunday's grey drizzle. You can see a couple of the results below. Joop was a happy, well-travelled fox terrier mix dog. He died of cancer yesterday. I never met him, but I saw dozens of photos of him on the Flickr site his human friend created. So my younger beardie has an infection in his prepu... somthing-or-other (the tip of his penis). This will involve my syringing said orifice with warm water and epsom salts twice a day.
