I can't believe it's been four weeks, honestly. It seemed like I just blinked or something...probably because I got totally distracted reading Keira's stuff again.

I have so many characters I need to address, which is what I like. I don't like stories that throw in more plot for plot's sake. Good stories, for me, present challenges for the characters to overcome, and poor Elisabeth hasn't faced her demons yet, I'm afraid.

I think I blame the authors a little, myself included. It's hard not to see the "receiver" as being in the feminine position. I have to remind myself sometimes that the gay men I know who actually will talk about such things don't make that distinction...except for the way some guys will claim they're not "really gay" because they never bottom. blech
